Kevin Spacey Angling to Portray Edward R. Murrow on Broadway

Actor in very early stages of adapting 2005 film Good Night, and Good Luck.

The lead item in today’s column by New York Post theater critic Michael Riedel is tantalizing. According to the reporter’s sources, Kevin Spacey is in the very early stages of mounting a possible Broadway adaptation of the 2005 film Good Night, and Good Luck.

Riedel writes that the film’s marquee producer-director-star, George Clooney, won’t be heavily involved, but Clooney’s Smokehouse Pictures partner Grant Heslov may have more of a hand in the stage adaptation. From his column:
