Raise your hand if you want yet another post covering the redesign of Gawker. And no, that middle finger doesn’t count.
Okay, well even though no one wants to hear it, we have a little more to report: According to DigiDaily, Gawker Media’s ad revenue is up almost 35 percent through the beginning of this year.
Though Nick Denton says the redesign doesn’t have much to do with it, it must be at least a tiny factor. The ability to keep big stories up top must be luring more premium ad buys. And, as Denton explains, some new Gawker video features rolling out soon will be even more tempting to advertisers.
