New York Names Gabriel Sherman National Affairs Editor

The contributing editor gets a new role.

New York has named Gabriel Sherman national affairs editor. Sherman has been a contributing editor for New York since 2008. Sherman is also the author of the Roger Ailes unauthorized biography The Loudest Voice in the Room.

As national affairs editor, Sherman will add politics and business to his coverage, in addition to media, real estate and Wall Street. He will write features, a regular column for the print magazine, and a weekly column for NYMag.com.

Sherman’s appointment is effective May 1.
