Future of Journalism Still Bright (At Least For Students)

There is one force that is undeterred by the state of journalism right now. The Washington Post reports journalism students and high school educators are still very dedicated to teaching and learning about all areas of media.

“I’m fascinated by what’s happening multimedia-wise,” said Lee’s Summit High School senior Josiah Jones. “It’s going to open doors as far as what we can do as journalists. We’ll continue to even out all our options between Internet-based publications, print journalism and everything in between.”
