The Financial Times has named Cait O’Riordan chief product and information officer (CPIO). O’Riordan most recently served as vice president of product for Shazam.
O’Riordan previously worked for BBC for more than a decade.
“I am delighted to welcome Cait to the Financial Times,” said the FT’s CEO John Ridding, in a statement. “Her experience leading strong product and engineering teams to develop multi-channel digital products is vital to our strategy as we seek to accelerate the FT’s global growth and paid for readership.”
