Freakonomics Radio to be Weekly Show

Great news.

WNYC is making the joy of Freakonomics Radio available to public radio listeners across the country each and every week. Starting in October, the show will be a weekly, one-hour program.

“Each book, each podcast, each blog post is a really fun and thoughtful experience as a result,” said Dean Cappello, WNYC’s chief content officer, in a statement. “Public radio listeners and stations have asked for more Freakonomics on the radio since we began producing audio several years ago.  We’re thrilled to make Freakonomics Radio available every week now as everyone looks for ways to keep radio smart and strong.”
