Fox Wins February Sweeps Early and Late
The February sweeps period ended yesterday with WNYW/Channel 5 victorious in a couple of dayparts.
The 10 p.m. newscast with anchors Ernie Anastos and Dari Alexander blasted its one rival–WPIX/Channel 11. But the Fox O & O also claimed a win with the early bird special at 5 a.m.
In Nielsen figures obtained by WNYW, Channel 5 was number one at 10 p.m. among the all-important Adults 25 to 54 demographic. Delving further, the broadcast delivered 152,400 Adults 25 to 54.
