Fox News Reporter's Hearing on Colorado Shooting Source Begins

Today, lawyers for Fox News’ Jana Winter — who broke a story about James Holmes, the Aurora, Colorado shooter — begin their fight to keep her from testifying. The AP reports that their appeal is expected to be made later this afternoon, in New York state’s Appellate Division.

The hearing will no doubt be watched closely by journalists. Holmes’ lawyers want Winter to testify about her confidential sources because the team claims that the contact with Winter violated a gag order on the case.
