Former WNYW Reporter Anne Craig Named Weekend Anchor in New Haven
Anne Craig, the effervescent entertainment reporter for WNYW/Channel 5, whose contract was not renewed in April, has joined WTNH-TV in New Haven, Connecticut. She’ll be a weekend anchor and weekday reporter.
The versatile Craig spent eight years at Fox’s WNYW where she started as a general assignment reporter.
“I’m excited about this opportunity and honored to join such a solid team at News 8,” Craig tells FishbowlNY. “I’ve long admired the strength of this key market and I’m looking forward to connecting with the community there.”
Craig begins her new TV gig on September 15th.
