Former Daily News Art Director Dies at 57

Former Daily News art director Gregg Miller died in his sleep Saturday at his Woodland Hills home, according to his wife, Dyan Miller. He was 57.

Miller worked for nearly 20 years at the Daily News, working his way up through the newspaper and eventually landed the art director role. He was laid off in 2008.

“He was a funny, professional, talented artist,” said Daily News columnist Dennis McCarthy. “We were so lucky to have him for as many years as we did.”

A Los Angeles native, Miller was raised in the San Fernando Valley and attended Chatsworth High School.
