We told you on Friday that we’d been receiving a number of tips regarding layoffs at Forbes. FBNY can now confirm that ForbesAuto.com was discontinued and the personnel there were laid-off. ForbesTraveler.com, which people had been speculating had been folded, was actually scaled back — we’re told some employees were let go, but that the site will continue. A spokesperson from Forbes also tells us that overall the layoffs for the Web were not “significant.”
