Following Reporter Departures, Observer De-Brands Its Blogs
The New York Observer‘s decision to place its franchise Web players front and center has hit a stumbling block following the departures of two of its highest-profile writers.
In mid-March, the Observer relaunched its “Media Mob” blog as “Media Mob With Koblin and Gillette.” In so doing, it gave top billing to reporters John Koblin and Felix Gillette. Here’s a snapshot of the logo on the day of the launch.
