Essence has named Julee Wilson digital fashion and beauty director, a new role at the magazine.
Wilson comes to the magazine from The Huffington Post, where she most recently served as senior fashion editor. Wilson had been with HuffPost since 2011.
Prior to her time at HuffPost, Wilson worked for Real Simple for six years.
According to WWD, Wilson will report to Essence editor in chief Vanessa De Luca.
