Entertainment Weekly Changes Publishers

A couple big moves.

Entertainment Weekly has made a change at the top. Ellie Duque—EW and People’s west coast ad director since 2007—is taking over as EW publisher. Melissa Mattiace, EW’s publisher for the past two years, is stepping down.

Mattiace indicated that it was her decision to leave the publication. “Leading EW has been an honor and I’ve loved every minute of it,” she said. “I’ve grown both professionally and personally during my tenure here. And, it’s with an eye toward the personal that I’ll be leaving EW.”
