At Least One Couple on Tap for Empire Steak House $10,000 New Year's Eve
New York Post reporter Gary Buiso had a fun item over the weekend about the “Emperor’s Delight,” a five-course New Year’s Eve menu for two being offered tonight at the Empire Steak House on West 52nd Street. The meal starts with two pounds of Osetra caviar and ends with a bill for $10,000 (gratuity not included).
FishbowlNY was curious how the reservations were looking for this privileged, top-end option. A rep for the restaurant at press time tells us that one couple so far has made the gilded reservation.
There are other, more affordable options in play at the Empire today, against the backdrop of 24 hours of continuous Frank Sinatra music.
