Timothy Potts Named Director of J. Paul Getty Museum

The J. Paul Getty Museum will soon likely be enjoying some stability for the first time in more than two years, with the announcement that Timothy Potts who has most recently served as the director of the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, England, will be coming on board as the museum’s full-time director. The Getty’s leadership of late, has been more than a bit in flux, first with Michael Brand‘s sudden and unexpected exit at the start of 2010.
