Dr. Laura To Bring Her Practice To Sirius XM

In August Laura Schlessinger announced that she would be leaving her Dr. Laura radio show when her contract expired at the end of the year.  According to an AP report,  Schlessinger will make the jump from traditional to satellite radio and host a three-hour weekday program beginning on Monday, Jan. 3.

Schlessinger faced heavy criticism from activists that called for her removal from the airwaves in early August after her repeated use of a racial epithet when talking to a black woman on her show.
