Dorothy Robinson is no longer the editor-in-chief of Metro US. According to a memo obtained by The New York Observer, Robinson is “stepping down from her role as editor-in-chief to pursue other opportunities.” Robinson was promoted to editor in January. She had been with Metro since 2004.
In the same memo, Yggers Mortinson, Metro’s CEO, wrote, “We respect and support her decision and I would like to thank her for all her hard work at Metro US over the past 10 years.”
Aleksander Korab will be taking over Robinson’s role for the time being. A successor will be named later.
