Don't Steal Brian Lam's Writers

Gizmodo’s Brian Lam is a little upset about poachers.

Not the guys stealing rhino horns (though that’s pretty upsetting too), but people stealing his writers.

He tweeted earlier today:

“note to poachers: I trained most of my stars myself. I recommend you go discover and develop talent. if you have it in you.”

And then added:

“anyone who tries to take writers from me, i’m going to a) take one of yours b) go for your job….and I will get your job.”

So what does this mean if a Gizmodo writer leaves on his or her own? Cosmic vengeance?
