Dodgers VP Leaving for Arizona Diamondbacks

Josh Rawitch, the Los Angeles Dodgers vice president of communications, is leaving the struggling organization at the conclusion of the season for a gig with the Arizona Diamondbacks as senior vice president of communications.

It will be a reunion of sorts for Rawitch and Diamondbacks president Derrick Hall. When Hall was the Dodgers vice president of communications, he poached Rawitch, who has been with the team for 15 seasons, from the club’s marketing department.

“For me, this simply came down to a tremendous professional opportunity and a chance to do great things for my family,” Rawitch told Tony Jackson of ESPNLA.com.
