Cover Education Trends in Diverse
Founded in 1984 by civil rights activists and scholars, this mag was originally launched as Black Issues in Higher Education. In 2005, the pub was re-named Diverse: Issues In Higher Education to reflect the issues of all minority groups. Seventy-five percent of the mag is freelance-written, and scribes tackle all areas of academe from admissions and affirmative action to financial aid.
“Our content has been relatively consistent in the subject areas Diverse has covered over the years,” said senior contributing editor Ronald Roach.
