Disney: The Mouse that Snored

With Disney‘s board (smiling at right) considering a deal to acquire Pixar today, think pieces abound that examine the effect on both companies.

As the Los Angeles Times points out, Jobs and the original Walt Disney were cut from the same cloth. Both were fiercely independent, moody high school drop-outs. And with its animation division widely derided as all but moribund, an iconoclastic reanimator might be just what Disney’s animators most need.
