Digital Music's Future Decided By Wal-Mart

While record labels (and Steve Jobs) hemmed and hawed over whether dropping copy-rights protection technology would sink the already flailing music industry, Wal-Mart announced it would offer MP3s without the protection — for less than iTunes, natch.
