Diane Harris Named Editor of Money

She is the first female editor in the magazine's 43-year history

Diane Harris has been named editor of Money. Harris most recently served executive editor of the magazine. Harris is Money’s first female editor since it launched in 1972.

Harris has been with Money — on and off  — since 1983. She left in 1992, then returned 10 years ago.

Harris is succeeding Craig Matters, who is leaving to pursue a career in education.

In related news, Ellen Stark is succeeding Harris as Money’s executive editor.
