Decoding AIGA NY's Body/Language

When not moonlighting as an UnBeige contributor, Lindsay Ballant is an art director at Print, where she’s filed a review of Body/Language, the one-day fashion and graphic design conference hosted by AIGA NY.

We like the sheer variety of content, from street art-meets-entrepreneurialism to the raconteurish history of fashion mags–Abbott Miller‘s critique of couture logos seems like it was absolutely hilarious–and although Isaac Mizrahi kept his hands to himself, he delivered at least one juicy quote that helped us remember why we love him so:

“I think you should be able to judge smart people for looking bad like you judge dumb people for not being smart.”
