Dave Weigel Now a Contributor on MSNBC
In a quick turnaround following his controversial departure from The Washington Post, blogger-slash-reporter Dave Weigel has joined MSNBC as a contributor, Mediaite reports.
Weigel appeared last night on “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” to present his reporting on Alabama congressional candidate Rick Barber. Olbermann announced on his show that Weigel had landed a contributor spot with MSNBC, and Mediaite confirmed that Weigel’s role “will be both paid and exclusive to the network.”
