Pulitzer Winner Daniel Golden Joins ProPublica

He starts next month as senior editor.

In 2014, at Bloomberg News, Daniel Golden guided “Tax Runaways,” an investigative series by Zachary R. Mider that won a Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting. And in 2004, as deputy Boston bureau chief for the Wall Street Journal, he earned the Pulitzer for Beat Reporting for a series on American university admissions and white privilege.

Starting next month, Golden will be applying those skills at ProPublica as a senior editor. From this morning’s announcement:

“I’m delighted to be joining ProPublica,” Golden said.
