Here, Playbill managing editor Robert Viagas is picking up on an exclusive report by Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr. out of Comic-Con, relating to the 2016 film project Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them. While “apparate” does not appear in any English-language dictionary, it’s a proper way to conjugate the J.K. Rowling lexicon. (The forthcoming Warner Bros. movie, part of a planned trilogy, is based on a book put out by Rowling under a pseudonym in 2001.)
For all those English-language purists, it could have been worse.
