Cuts at New York Media

Among the cuts, which number somewhere around “five or six,” is former mediabistro.com editor-in-chief Jesse Oxfeld. He joined New York on the digital side — starting the Daily Intelligencer blog — and moved to the magazine section last year. His position became redundant with the decision to include more of DI content in the print pub.
