Michael Bierut of Pentagram and Design Observer fame, sent me an email this morning regarding the atrocity pictured above:

There is now a huge top-to-bottom ad for H&M on the prow of the Flatiron Building. The Steichen-obsessed German tourists who arrive for photo ops in our neighborhood all day long are going to be pissed.

Is nothing sacred I ask you?
