Cover Battle: Sports Illustrated Wins

Welcome back to another edition of FishbowlNY’s weekly Cover Battle. Typically, we ask you to choose which magazine covers you like best, but this week we’re doing this differently.

The above is Sports Illustrated’s Boston Strong cover, which included about  3,000 Boston residents. When we learned that SI was asking the city’s residents to show up at the Boston Marathon finish line for a cover shoot, we figured it’d be a good one. It is, and that’s why we’re crowning SI this week’s champ.
