Copyedit With The SPJ And Special Guests
The Society for Professional Journalists is holding a free Twitter chat this evening on copy editing and social media.
Two journalism professors, Grammar Girl Mignon Fogarty and a freelance copyeditor will moderate the chat on helping anyone who wants to get news up on the Web fast, but sans typos.
There will also be, as the announcement excitedly says, a “SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY GRAMMAR HULK!”
We’re picturing the inevitable culture clash between those who have heard of, and get, Grammar Hulk, and those who don’t.
