Editor Sarah Hartley worked for more than a decade at Guardian Media Group; developer Dan Catt helped build Flickr; and Matt McAlister, as a business development person at Guardian Media Group, has been involved with digital publishing since 1994.
The first issue is live with content commissioned from friends and acquaintances. But in future, per a post by Hartley, it will work as follows:
Writers propose story ideas in Month One, and members back stories collectively using points allocated to them from their membership fees.
