Complex has its eyes on the Time-Life building. According to The New York Post, the magazine is moving its entire staff there by the end of June, taking up residence on the 35th floor. Rick Antoniello, CEO of Complex Media, told the Post the move was necessary, explaining, “We’re not a run- and-gun startup anymore.”
Speaking of 1271 6th Avenue, there are rumors that Time Inc. is going to leave it behind when it’s spun off. The company is expected to look for a place with a cheaper rent, which makes sense. But there are many egos in media, so don’t expect them to move far. Yes, that means Yonkers is probably out of the running.
Nothing against Yonkers.
