Columbia J-School Announces Fellows For Violence And Trauma Coverage

A Wall Street Journal reporter is among the 2009 Dart Center Ochberg Fellowship recipients announced by Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism today.

The fellowships, established in 1999, offer mid-career journalists looking to expand their coverage of violence and traumatic events a chance to learn from experts in the field. The ten fellowships awarded this year went to journalists from all types of media outlets from around the world who had previously covered horrible events including crimes, natural disasters, diseases and wars.
