CNNMoney Adds Personal Finance Reporter
Melanie Hicken is joining CNNMoney’s personal finance team. Hicken comes to CNNMoney from Reuters, where she served as a computer-assisted reporting intern. Previously she worked at ProPublica and Business Insider.
Hicken begins at CNNMoney on December 17.

Melanie got her start as a beat reporter in Glendale, California in 2009, where she covered everything from pensions to wasteful government spending.
