Chalk up another winning month for Clear Channel’s WLTW/Lite FM. The Soft Adult Contemporary juggernaut maintains its big lead in the Arbitron May PPM (6+) ratings.

WLTW did fall slightly from the previous month to a 6.6 (down from 7.0). But the cume (measure of overall audience) increased to 5.7 million listeners.

WCBS-FM, a constant number two, took a step back in May–forging a third-place tie with WKTU at 4.9 (CBS-FM is down from 5.3).

Moving into the number two slot is WHTZ/Z 100 at 5.0 (up from 4.8 in April).

Also going in positive territory was Tropical sensation WSKQ at 4.4 in fifth place (up from 4.1).

More from the Top 10 after the jump

WCBS-AM took a hit (after an 1.1 increase two months ago), falling .7 to 4.1.

However, Clear Channel owned WAXQ/Q104.3 made gains–.5 to a 4.0 for May.

Fresh 102.7/WWFS, WBLS, and WINS tied for tenth place at 3.6 (all virtually unchanged from the previous month).

Elsewhere, WFAN slipped back .3 to 2.6, while Citadel’s WPLJ went .3 in the opposite direction to land at 2.6.

One other note, with all of the talk of The Rapture by Family Radio preacher Harold Camping, Newark, New Jersey-based affiliate WFME saw a .4 boost in listenership –to a 1.1.
