Time Inc. has named Clay Chandler executive editor international, a new role at the company.
Chandler most recently served as director, senior strategist at The Barrenrock Group, a Hong Kong-based consultancy group he founded in 2014. This is a homecoming for him, as he previously served as Fortune’s Asia editor from 2001 to 2008.
Chandler’s appointment is effective immediately. He’ll report to Time Inc.’s chief content officer Alan Murray and Time Inc. president, international Steve Marcopoto. Chandler will be based in Hong Kong.
