CIID Co-founder Heather Martin Joins Smart Design

Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) co-founder Heather Martin has been tapped to lead Smart Design‘s interaction design practice in Europe. She has joined the firm’s Barcelona studio as director of interaction design. Before co-founding design and technology hub CIID, Martin held positions at IDEO and Tangerine, was academic director of Interaction Design Institute Ivrea in Italy, and was a fellow at the Royal College of Art (her alma mater). She has worked with clients including Prada, Intel, Samsung, Nokia, and Artemide.
