CEO Pay Increases 11 Percent

The rich keep getting richer. And richer, and richer and richer. The Wall Street Journal reports today that executives at the biggest companies in the United States saw their wallets get fatter by an average of 11 percent. The highest paid CEO is Philippe P. Dauman of Viacom, who made $84 .3 million last year.

The survey took into account stock, salary, and bonuses for execs at 350 companies. The biggest boost came via bonuses, which rose almost 20 percent.
