Real Simple has named Cece Ryan its new publisher. Ryan was most recently People’s associate publisher of sales, where she worked for most the past 19 years.
“Cece is ideally suited for her new role,” wrote Charlie Kammerer, group publisher of Real Simple, Cooking Light, Health, MyRecipes, This Old House and Food & Wine, in a memo to staff. “Similar to the People brand, Real Simple has a large and diverse category of advertisers and she has proven to understand and deliver against this broad set of clients in creative and profitable ways.”
