Casey Jones Stops Train, Talks Branding

An interesting interview with one of Dell‘s new top brass, and former Interpublic big shot, Casey Jones, over at Federated Media‘s blog (which we found by way of Torrez). In it, Jones talks about marketing and campaigns that work, why it’s scary (or not) for gigantic brands (think Geico or BMW’s Mini) to tighten their focus and not worry so much about being able to reach everyone, and why, mid-interview, he took his current job at Dell, leading the marketing department of a company that has seen far better years.
