CareerBuilder Survey Shows Employers Actively Recruiting Veterans
Yes, we’re all about Veterans Day and the latest data reflects employers supporting veterans when it comes to hiring.
According to a new CareerBuilder survey, one-third of employers are actively recruiting veterans over the next year. Numbers are slightly higher than last year’s digits and significantly higher than one-fifth reported three years ago.
In addition, 31 percent have hired a veteran who returned from active duty within the past 12 months. This is three percentage points higher than 2013.
More than 2,400 hiring and human resources managers were surveyed along with 286 veterans currently employed in full-time jobs throughout the country.
