Canadian Freelance Union Gets Off The Ground

Canadian independent media workers will get some relief when the Canadian Freelance Union gets started; last week the first meeting date was scheduled. Course, you’ll have to wait until October to actually get to go to the meeting, but these things take time, you know.

This meeting “will involve a number of physical sites, with electronic links to the entire country. At this meeting we will adopt a set of initial bylaws, elect the first national executive, and establish other founding policies.”
