Sacramento Group Announces 'Better Newspapers Contest' Winners

The best thing about the annual “Better Newspapers Contest” sponsored by the non-profit California Newspaper Publishers Association (CNPA) is the way the organization showcases some of the winners online.

In fitting old school style, the CNPA shares the information in the form of a small town newspaper PDF. 2010 winners were announced over the weekend in LA and encompass a wide variety of daily and weekly print publications.

One of the honored stories that caught FishbowlLA’s attention is “Chloe’s Legacy”, first place winner in the writing category for weeklies with a circulation of 11,001 to 25,000.
