Budge Your Budget Up Or Watch Your Employees Flee

Recruiting budgets aren’t moving, says a director at recruiting advertising firm Bayard.

“Organizations—because their recruiting needs have been so radically reduced—have gotten used to the idea that they don’t have to spend money.”

Bayard anticipates high turnover in 2010, despite flat or declining budgets for recruiting. 58 percent of anyone with a job is already looking to make a change, says Bayard’s Ann Troxell. “Even though budgets have not been increased, we think hiring for 2010 is going to be off the charts.”
