Breaking: Denton's Valleywag Poaches Editor From Business 2.0
Denton: Less blogging, more tanning
We just got word that Valleywag has a new editor in Owen Thomas of Business 2.0. Thomas, a former online editor for Time Inc., currently edits 2.0‘s Beta blog and — most importantly — worked on beloved late ’90s site Suck.com. Valleywag has been edited by Gawker Media publisher Nick Denton since original editor Nick Douglas was fired (and later bought back as a correspondent) this past November.
In other Gawker-related news, the Huffington Post broke the news that GM is launching a science fiction blog that will be edited by a writer from Wired.
