The Boston Globe To Publish Magazine About 'The Americas Wing'
This Sunday, The Boston Globe will publish a magazine — The MFA Takes Wing — completely devoted to the opening of the Museum of Fine Arts’ new Art of the Americas Wing. The 56-page glossy will be distributed in the Sunday edition of the paper as well as in Boston and Manhattan-area issues of The New York Times, which is owned by the same parent company.
The magazine will provide a floor-by-floor guide to the wing’s 53 galleries, the period rooms, and courtyard and a behind-the-scenes look at the building of the wing, which has been a decade in the making, including its architecture and the pieces it will hold.
