Bob Cohn Named Sole President of The Atlantic

A co-president no longer.

Now that James Bennet has decided to leave The Atlantic to join the New York Times, the dominoes at the Atlantic have begun to fall.

Bob Cohn will now serve as the sole president of the magazine. Bennet had served as co-president of The Atlantic with Cohn since 2014.

“A first among equals as to extreme talent is Bob Cohn,” wrote Atlantic Media chairman David Bradley, in a memo to staffers. “[Bob and James] have formed a most-remarkable partnership.
