Bloomberg Terminals, which many bankers and traders depend on for market data, suffered a massive outage in Europe and Asia. The New York Times reports that the failures started Friday morning in Europe, roughly one hour before the markets closed in Asia.
“Significant but not all parts of our network experienced a disruption today,” said a Bloomberg spokesperson. “We have restored service to most customers and are making progress in bringing all parts of the network back online. We apologize to our customers.”
